Bonanzle Gets New Server That Is 8x Faster & Auction Wally too

So many new and exciting things are happening at Bonanzle! We have a new server that is being put to work as I write! A quote from the updated blog, by Bill at Bonanzle:
"New server status: My current "best guess" is that the new server will be online early next week (sometime between Monday and Wednesday). We have the computer hooked up, and will be moving all the goods to it over the next couple days. Of course, those goods include more than 3 million pictures uploaded... so it's hard to say exactly when that will be finished. But I think that early next week is a pretty good guess. Please bear with some slow page loads between now and then -- help is coming!" I just love these guys! We are never in the dark as to what if going on at Bonanzle. Now on top of the new server other new features have been added as well like the "wish list" and the "save for later", search and replace of item descriptions to batch editor, batch edit now gives user a warning before doing something that can't be undone, just so much is happening this week! Another plus for a lot of sellers is the flat rate international shipping that has also been added. This morning I seen on the boards that Auction Wally is now doing a show on Monday nights called "Brainstorming Bonanzle", that will be a live call in show! Starting Monday, November 17,2008 at 8 p.m. eastern time, Auction Wally with co-host Mitzi Swisher will be doing the show live with call ins and of course the live chat! Like I said these are just a few of the Bonanzle Booth owners that are now doing a layaway plan. As I learn of the others I will update this list. This morning Bonanzle listing count was at 290670 and 7787 users, now that is a whole lot of items to chose from and a lot of nice folks to work with. If you stop by and the site is running slow, we are in the process of up grading our server to one that will be 8x faster than the one we have now. I look at this as growing pains. Like labor and delivery, there will be pain and what is born is truly amazing!

Bonanzle Booth Owners & Layaway Options

Talk about a creative community of Bonanzle Booth owners, with the holidays coming and the economy the way that it is, some Bonanzle Booth owners are now doing a layaway option in their booths. Layaway used to be something that could be done at nearly every store in town and now it is a thing of the past. Maybe due to credit cards, who knows. I was inpressed with the idea of an on line layaway plan! There are many Bonanzle Booths that are now doing this, I will try to get a list together of those that are doing the layaway. Gift Certificiates are also now an option in a few of the Bonanzle Booths. This is great for that hard to buy for or oops I forgot person. With a listing count of 286494 this morning and 7658 users this makes for some great shopping! Bonanzle makes it so easy to shop! Layaway options, gift certificates, Money Orders and some even still take personal checks. With the real time chat, you can ask the seller questions right there. No waiting for e-mails to be exchanged back and forth. There were a couple of items that I was having a problem locating and with the real time chat I was able to get both of the items. The Bonanzle Booth owners have lots of items and if you don't see something, chances are real good if you ask you will receive!

Meet "7"...

"7" was one of Michael Vicks fighting dogs. Bradon Bond (Extremely famous Tattoo artist and one of the best I've ever seen) rescued "7" along with a couple other pit bulls seized from Michael Vicks home of horror!

"7" was hit and killed by a car almost 6 months to the day after she was rescued from living in hell.

However, before she died, she truly knew what it felt like to be loved and cared for, instead of beaten and abused.

She was about to be legally adopted by her foster father, when she slipped out the door between his legs and ran into the road. The gentleman that hit her rushed her and her foster dad to the vet, however "7" passed away on the way to the vets office.

What A Fabulous Day At Bonanzle!

Yesterday had to be one of the most exciting days for me and a lot of other folks on Bonanzle ! The membership grew 295 new Bonanzle members in just 24 hours! Bonanzle was featured on local Seattle news station King 5 TV! You can view the interview here:

Bonanzle Hits 7000 Users 11-2-08

What an exciting last couple of days we at Bonanzle have had! On Oct.31,2008 we unofficially hit the #10 spot on the PSU listing count board and two days later we have hit another milestone of 7000 users! It was so exciting on the boards like waiting for the ball to drop on New Year's Eve, let the countdown begin. Wow at 11:11 p.m. eastern time Bonanzle hit 7001 users! This morning there are 7075 users, of that number of users only 1656 have Bonanzle Booths. What does this mean? What this means is that there are 5419 registered users that are buyers! The Bonanzle listing count this morning was at a whooping 274114 listings and growing by the minute! I have to say that this little community has come a very long way!
